As a consumer, you should know that this business has functioned as a continuous entity since 1963 with its roots in Nottingham. Starting out as a "country park setting" to site affordable housing in a crisp, clean and safe environment, Nottingham Manor quickly grew for the need of a separate sales center. That sales center moved from a leased lot in the 1970's to its present location at 478 W. Christine Rd. (Route 272) in Nottingham, Pa. It was here that the owner of the business, Ron Reid, realized the need to branch out and install manufactured homes on privately owned property.

This side of the business also flourished, but as other like-minded business people were building multiple sales locations, Ron stayed with his single sales center and serviced what he sold. Along with this came a strong customer-base and the ability to weather different trends in the market. That is why we are still here. As other builders have come and gone, we have remained committed to the local area, giving us the strength to reach out into the Southern New Jersey, Northern Delaware and Maryland markets, building our integrity and your home, one at a time. It is this commitment to you before, during and after your house is built that makes our customer-base glad they dealt with a "down home" builder. As you traveled through our site, you probably wondered about a company that has been in business for 45 years with the question arising, "Where are they going from here?"

The only question we have is, "Where do you need us to go?" The second generation of home builders is continuing the tradition started by Ron. Daniel Reid, now 28, has been helping his dad since he was old enough to pick up a shovel. It is this type of work ethic that can only be instilled by the proximity of a father-figure who is unafraid to get his hands dirty.
